These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Srutio Social (srutiosocial.com), operated by Srutio Media And Software, a sole proprietorship registered in India (MSME and GST registered). By accessing or using srutiosocial.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the website. These terms apply to all visitors, readers, subscribers, and contributors.
1. Intellectual Property
All content published on srutiosocial.com is the intellectual property of Srutio Media And Software, Kolkata, unless otherwise attributed. This includes but is not limited to: written articles, essays, reviews, editorial commentary, images, illustrations, photographs, logos, taglines, layout designs, and all proprietary analytical concepts introduced within the publication’s editorial content.

New proprietary concepts are automatically covered by this clause upon publication.
“Srutio” and “Srutio Social” are trademarks of Srutio Media And Software. The Eeshin byline is an editorial identity owned exclusively by Srutio Media And Software and may not be used or replicated by any third party.
Content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, translated, or republished without prior written permission, except as expressly permitted under Section 3 below.
2. Permitted Access
You may access and read content on srutiosocial.com for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may share article links on social media, in messaging platforms, in newsletters, or in any other context where linking is standard practice. You may subscribe to the newsletter. You may submit music for editorial consideration via the contact form or email.
3. Content Reuse and Quotation
What is permitted without prior permission:
Quoting short passages from any article for the purpose of commentary, criticism, review, or academic reference, subject to a maximum of 200 words per quotation and clear attribution to Srutio Social (srutiosocial.com) with a link back to the original article URL.
Referencing Srutio Social’s proprietary concepts in your own writing, provided the origin is acknowledged through a link or citation to the article where the concept was introduced.
Sharing article links across any platform. Sharing is encouraged.
Embedding Srutio Social articles or short excerpts in educational contexts (classroom materials, syllabi, academic presentations, research papers) with attribution and a link back.
What is not permitted:
Republishing full articles, in whole or in substantial part, on any other website, blog, publication, newsletter, aggregator, or platform, whether commercial or non-commercial, without prior written permission from Srutio Media And Software.
Reproducing Srutio Social’s proprietary concept definitions verbatim in your own writing without attribution, or presenting them as your own original ideas.
Modifying, adapting, translating, or creating derivative works from Srutio Social content without prior written permission. This includes translations into any language.
Using Srutio Social content, name, byline, or proprietary vocabulary in any commercial context (advertising, marketing materials, sponsored content, product descriptions, book titles) without prior written permission.
Requesting Permission:
For any use not covered under the permitted section above, contact contact@srutiosocial.com with details of the intended use. Responses typically arrive within 30 days. Requests for academic, journalistic, and non-commercial editorial use are generally granted with attribution. Commercial requests are evaluated case by case.
4. Prohibited Use
You may not:
Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from srutiosocial.com using automated tools, bots, or extraction scripts, except for indexing by recognised search engines operating within standard robots.txt directives.
Use srutiosocial.com content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or otherwise develop machine learning models, large language models, generative AI systems, or any artificial intelligence system, whether commercial, research, or personal, without an explicit written licensing agreement from Srutio Media And Software. This prohibition applies to text, images, and any other content on the website, and applies retroactively to content published before this clause was added.
Republish entire articles or substantial portions on any other platform without written permission.
Frame, iframe, or embed srutiosocial.com content within another website without permission.
Distribute malware, spam, phishing content, or harmful material through the website or its comment sections.
Attempt unauthorised access to the website’s server, database, administrative systems, or backend infrastructure.
Impersonate the Eeshin byline, Srutio Social, or Srutio Media And Software in any context, including but not limited to social media, email correspondence, or written publications.
Use the website in any manner that violates applicable laws, including but not limited to intellectual property laws, defamation laws, and data protection laws.
5. Music Submissions
Artists, bands, labels, and publicists may submit music for editorial consideration through the contact form or via email at contact@srutiosocial.com. Submission does not guarantee coverage.
Srutio Social reserves full editorial discretion over which submissions are reviewed, when they are reviewed, and the nature of any resulting coverage. Coverage decisions are final and are not subject to negotiation, appeal, or influence by promotional or financial considerations.
Submitting music to Srutio Social grants Srutio Social a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to stream, reference, quote lyrics from, embed streaming links to, discuss, and analyse the submitted material for editorial purposes. This permission covers reviews, feature articles, playlist inclusions, and social media promotion of the resulting coverage.
Srutio Social does not claim ownership of submitted music. All copyrights and performance rights in submitted material remain with the original artist, label, or rights holder.
Srutio Social does not accept payment, gifts, or other consideration in exchange for coverage. Any submission accompanied by an offer of payment will be declined and the submitting party may be blocked from future submissions.
6. Newsletter
By subscribing to the Srutio Social newsletter through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), you agree to receive periodic editorial updates, article announcements, and occasional dispatches from Srutio Media And Software. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.
Newsletter email processing, storage, and use are governed by the Privacy Policy. Newsletter subscribers will not receive promotional content from third parties. Newsletter email addresses are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
7. User-Generated Content
Srutio Social may permit reader comments on articles, submissions to the contact form, or other forms of user-generated content. By submitting any content to Srutio Social (including comments, contact form submissions, and correspondence), you grant Srutio Media And Software a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, edit, publish, or reference that content in editorial contexts.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, does not violate any applicable laws, and does not contain defamatory, obscene, or harmful material.
Srutio Social reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove user-generated content at its sole discretion.

Third, legal action through appropriate courts where warranted, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.
Srutio Media And Software reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law. Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Copyright Act, 1957, and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the website, or any content published on srutiosocial.com shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
